Our venue

Old Lifeboat House closed down in 1980. Soon after it was converted into a restaurant, bar, and takeaway. It has a modern, relaxed atmosphere where the diner can take their time to enjoy the experience. We are fully licensed with draught Cornish Ales and an outstanding Cornish Pilsner, as well as an extensive wine list. As far as Lizard restaurants are concerned you can not get much closer to the water’s edge, ideal for those long summer evenings. We also barbecue once a week during the summer months.

The Lifeboat House also has an award-winning takeaway Fish & Chips service where you have a choice of fish cooked in batter or in our secret breadcrumb recipe. See our Takeaway Menu
